AIRBORNE
HELP
Many natural and man made disasters occur around the world, leaving many people isolated from food and medical supplies during emergencies. One in eight people worldwide die due to starvation, exceeding the population of the United States, Canada, and the European Union combined. Hunger claims more lives than aids, malaria, and tuberculosis. Thirty four million children die every year due to hunger related disease which can easily be prevented or treated. A quick and easy solution is to send these supplies on a drone to specified locations. Drones are often stereotyped as weapons of mass destruction due to its well-established history. However drones are not limited to dropping bomb, they can pick up and drop off medical supplies and food as well. Using drones for this purpose will save numerous lives. One type of drone is called a quadcopter. The quadcopter is a self automated helicopter with four motors. Having four motors give the quadcopter more agility and can take off vertically in the air, as opposed to an airplane which needs a runway.
